ALINA ALEXANDRU

Alina Alexandru (風夕 / Evening Breeze) Ikebana Teacher – Sogetsu School (3rd Grade official certification) Ohara practitioner, trainer and organizer of cultural events Romania – Italy.
I am an certified teacher of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana, with artistic activity carried out in Romania, France, Monaco and Italy. In my practice, I approach Ikebana as a form of complex visual expression, located at the intersection of art, space and inner balance. I work with structures, volumes and lines to put the naturalness of plant materials into dialogue with my artistic sensitivity. In the workshops and courses I teach, I aim to develop a conscious process of observation, refine the gesture, understand negative space and form an authentic relationship with natural materials. The teaching method is adapted to the level of each student, with an emphasis on personal evolution and understanding of Japanese aesthetic principles.
Areas of activity:
• Ikebana teaching (individual and group courses, progressive programs)
• Artistic demonstrations and public presentations
• Organization of floral exhibitions and various events
• Compositions for cultural events, public and private spaces
• Cultural connection projects Romania–Italy–Japan
